The shrine’s backstory felt deeply woven into the horror elements. I wonder if the author drew from real legends or created it entirely from imagination.

The sense of dread and paranoia seemed to build from the characters’ minds as much as from any ghostly presence. Was this intentional to keep readers guessing?

The pacing kept me engaged, but I’m curious whether the blend of genres was planned from the start or evolved during writing.
