The portrayal of command and discipline felt very detailed; I'm curious whether real military structures influenced this or if it was purely fictional.

The action was intense, but some parts with political strategizing felt a bit slow. Was that intentional to build tension or just a pacing choice?

The technical descriptions added realism, but I wondered how much was planned versus developed as the story progressed. Did the focus shift during writing?
