The 'Very Short Introduction' series aims to make complex topics accessible—I'm curious what led to the decision to distill philosophy this way and how it impacts the depth of discussion.

Some concepts felt surprisingly relevant outside academic circles, but others seemed more abstract. I wonder if others experienced similar moments of connection.
