The creatures feel both terrifying and believable — I wonder if the author drew from myth, history, or personal fears to craft them.

There were some quieter moments that made me reflect, but I’m curious if that was intentional to build tension or a pacing choice.

The isolated locations really amplify the fear factor. Did the author base these places on real locations or create them purely from imagination?
