The rich historical details really brought the setting to life, but I wonder what drew Linden to this particular era and social backdrop.

Their slow-burning tension kept me hooked, but I was also wondering if that pacing was intentional to build anticipation or just natural story flow.

There were moments that made me laugh out loud but also quite moved — I’d love to know how Linden approached blending these tones.
