I'm curious about what inspired the direction of this book after the first one, especially how the characters' arcs are developed further.

The book made me laugh and cry in equal measure. I'm wondering if that was intentional to keep young readers engaged while tackling serious topics.

Shifting viewpoints added layers to the story, but I'm curious whether that was planned from the start or a creative choice during writing.
