I loved the fast-paced magic scenes but felt the romance sometimes took a backseat. I wonder if this was a conscious choice to keep the stakes high.

The magic system and political landscape are so rich that I needed some time to get my footing. Was this depth intended to immerse readers or did it slow the story down for others?

Blending urban life with fantasy elements feels fresh. I'm curious whether the author drew from real cities or crafted this environment entirely from imagination.
