The internal conflict felt very authentic, but I'm curious how much of that was drawn from personal experience or research. Did the author aim to challenge readers' perceptions of faith?

I appreciated the depth, but the contemplative parts made me wonder if they were meant to slow the story intentionally or reflect the character's inner state.

The setting felt immersive, but I wonder if it was based on real places or a crafted vision to serve the novel's themes.
