Lolth is both a villain and an anti-hero at times. I'm curious what inspired the choice to make her morally ambiguous rather than purely evil.

The political intrigue and lore seem deeply layered. I wonder if the author created a detailed lore bible or if it grew during the writing process.

The narrative gives such a personal view of the epic events—was this a conscious choice to humanize the fantastical elements?
