Grimm's Fairy Tales

With so many Grimm stories, I wonder what guided the selection process and if some lesser-known tales are included to showcase diversity.

Even though these are old tales, the lessons about kindness and bravery still resonate today. I’m curious if others felt the same or if I’m reading into it.

The poetic versions added a lyrical charm, but I wonder whether that was a creative choice or to make the stories more accessible for young readers.
