The detailed descriptions really brought the jungle to life. I'm curious whether the setting was inspired by real places or completely imagined.

Some scenes had me on the edge of my seat! I wonder how much of that tension was planned and how much came naturally from the story.

It seemed like a mix of curiosity and friendship, but I wonder what the author wanted young readers to take away about bravery.
