Five Run Away Together

The setting feels so vivid and lively — I wonder if it was inspired by a real place or a childhood dream of remote islands.

The kids always seem to figure things out just in time, which made the story exciting but also made me wonder if the solutions were a bit too perfect.

Blyton’s depiction of daring escapes and clever plans is fun, but I’m curious if she intentionally kept things light to keep it suitable for children.
