The combat scenes felt very authentic and immersive. I'm curious whether the author drew from personal experience or extensive research.

The relationships between soldiers added depth, but I wondered if other aspects of their personal lives were intentionally kept in the background.

The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, but the quieter moments felt meaningful. I'm interested in how that balance was planned during writing.
