The aliens felt so vivid and unique — I wonder what the author drew from to create their world and customs. Did the story start with the species or the romance?

The forced proximity setup really amplified the emotional stakes, but I was also nervous about how their trust would develop. Was that intentional to keep readers on edge?

The story moved quickly but also gave enough space for the characters' inner struggles. I’d love to know if this was planned or evolved naturally during writing.
