The depiction of power struggles among fae feels very layered and intense. I wonder if this was based on any mythologies or entirely from the author's imagination.

The plot twists kept me on edge, but I was also surprised by some of the character decisions. Was the pacing deliberate to build suspense?

The blend between fae lore and detective work is seamless, but I wonder what led to the choice to intertwine these genres so tightly.
