The characters felt layered and morally gray, which added depth to the story. I wonder what inspired the author to move away from traditional portrayals.

There were so many factions and allegiances that I had to reread certain parts. Was that complexity intentional to reflect real power struggles?

The pacing felt just right, but I’d love to know if she planned the story to be more character-driven or plot-driven from the start.
