I loved the build-up but was left wondering how much was intentional mystery versus plot gaps. Did the backstory feel satisfying or unresolved to others?

The choices she makes feel so raw and relatable, but I wonder if that was a conscious decision to challenge typical hero archetypes?

The urban environment felt so vivid and alive — I'm curious if Kelley Armstrong drew from personal experiences or crafted it entirely from imagination.
