Koren’s approach feels deeply rooted in Japanese culture, but I wonder what personal experiences led him to explore this concept so thoroughly.

The way different disciplines are woven together gives a holistic view of wabi-sabi, but I’m curious whether others felt it helped or muddled the message.

This book made me think about how imperfection and transience could challenge our current obsession with perfection and permanence in art and architecture.
