The Riddle

The riddles add such a layered depth to the story, but I wonder if they were inspired by traditional folklore or something more personal from the author.

The magic system and political landscape felt incredibly rich, but I’d love to hear if that was planned from the start or developed as the story progressed.

Some scenes made me feel so connected to the characters, yet others kept the story moving quickly. Was that contrast intentional to reflect the chaos of their world?
