The atmospheric Irish backdrop adds so much to the mood. I'm curious whether the author drew from real places or created a fictional setting.

The moral ambiguity made me question what I would do in their position. It’s rare to see a character so morally complex in crime fiction.

The pacing kept me hooked, but I wonder if the timing of reveals was planned from the start or adjusted during writing.
