The city feels like a character itself—so alive and dangerous. I'm curious whether the author based it on a real place or crafted it entirely from imagination.

Some of the paranormal aspects gave me chills, especially because they felt so grounded in reality. Did the author aim for a sense of creeping dread through these details?

The pacing kept me on edge, but I also cared about the characters’ arcs. Wondering if the focus on character growth was planned from the start or developed alongside the plot.
