Shea’s dedication is impressive, and I wonder what sparked the idea to take on such an enormous project. Was it a love for words, a personal challenge, or something else?

His humorous take made me appreciate the quirks of English more deeply. I’m curious if others found themselves paying more attention to words or etymology after finishing the book.

The book manages to be both informative and funny, which isn’t easy with such a dense subject. I wonder what choices he made to keep the tone light without losing the depth.
