On the Road

Kerouac's depiction of the Beat Generation feels so authentic. I wonder how much of it was drawn from his real experiences versus creative imagination.

The spontaneous prose really captures the feeling of being on the move, but did it also make it harder to follow at times? Would love to hear others' thoughts.

The loosely connected adventures lend a sense of spontaneity, but I wonder what led to framing the novel this way instead of a traditional plot.
