The atmospheric setting adds so much to the mood, but I'm curious if the author chose Scandinavia for specific cultural reasons or for the landscape itself.

The story picked up again towards the end, but I wondered if that slower section was intentional to build tension or develop characters.

Switching viewpoints kept me guessing but also made me think about how perspectives shape the story’s moral ambiguities.
