The mix of dark romance and mystery kept me hooked, but I'm curious how much of it was planned from the start versus evolving during writing.

The push and pull between characters felt very visceral. Did others find the tension satisfying or a little overwhelming at times?

It seems like both aspects are equally prominent, creating a unique atmosphere. Was that a deliberate choice to keep readers guessing?
