I'm curious how the author decided to weave paranormal aspects into a modern-day story without it feeling out of place. Did the idea come first or evolve during writing?

The tone shifts felt a little abrupt at times — was that intentional to reflect the characters' emotional journeys or just a natural part of the story?

The story kept me engaged but also made me work to piece things together. I wonder if the pacing was carefully planned to build suspense or developed more organically.
