Liar's Beach

I was hooked by the mystery, but the pacing in the first few chapters felt a little drawn out. Do you think that was intentional to build tension?

The summer backdrop really added to the sense of both freedom and danger. I'm curious whether the author based it on a real place or created it from imagination.

While I enjoyed the story overall, some of the revelations seemed to follow common tropes. Did anyone else guess the twists early on?
