The way the supernatural is woven into the mystery felt very organic. I wonder what sparked the idea to blend these genres so seamlessly.

There was a lot of build-up before the climax, which made me curious whether that was a deliberate choice to heighten suspense or just my reading experience.

The chilling scenes contrasted with the investigative parts kept me hooked, but I wonder how the author planned this balance from the start.
