Gunpowder Moon

The moon as a backdrop adds a unique sense of isolation. I'm curious whether the author based it on real science or pure imagination.

The claustrophobic setting amplified the tension for me, but I wonder if it also made some character decisions feel more believable.

The science felt credible but didn't overshadow the plot. Did anyone else notice moments where science took a backseat to suspense?
