The vivid portrayal of the landscape and culture really brought the story to life. I'm curious whether real historical events influenced the world-building or if it was purely fictional.

It made me question how different characters' choices were shaped by their pursuit of wealth versus personal relationships. Would love to hear others' thoughts on their moral lines.

The pacing kept me on the edge of my seat, but I wondered whether more focus on character backstories was intentionally sacrificed for the thrill.
