Brown's depiction of modern warfare feels very authentic. I'm curious whether he drew from real military sources or extensive research when crafting these scenes.

The story moved from tense planning to full-blown action so rapidly that I almost couldn't keep up. Was this intentional for the adrenaline, or could it have been fleshed out more?

The book balances technical descriptions with character moments, but I wonder what leads to the decision of which scenes get the spotlight — is it more about plot or realism?
