The Regency period is so rich with social intrigue and tradition. I wonder what drew the author to focus on this particular time and how it influences the characters' choices.

Their banter and tension felt so genuine, but I kept wondering how much of that was planned or if it grew naturally during writing.

The story feels immersive, but I’m curious whether the historical elements were woven in to serve the plot or if they were a passion project of the author’s research.
