The isolated, close-knit community adds so much tension to the mystery. I'm curious if real places or stories influenced this backdrop.

The story builds suspense but also has some quieter moments. I'm wondering if the author planned it that way to deepen character development.

Switching viewpoints gave a fuller picture but also added complexity. I’d love to know if that was a late addition or part of the initial plan.
