The portrayal of bullying felt very real and uncomfortable at times. I wonder if the author intended to make readers reflect on their own behavior.

Her honest depiction of peer pressure and shame made me curious about her inspiration and goals for this book.

The story seemed to focus on the pain of bullying, but the resolution offered a sense of understanding and redemption. Did that feel genuine to others?
