The small-town atmosphere feels so authentic—was it inspired by a real location or purely imagined? I wonder what went into building that world.

The story seemed to take a breather before ramping up again. I'm curious if that was intentional to build suspense or a natural part of the narrative flow.

It added depth but also slowed the plot at times. I'm interested in whether this was to humanize the character or reflect a thematic point.
