Aesop's Fables

The blend of poetic language and stories makes for a unique reading experience. I'm curious if this approach was aimed at engaging children’s imaginations or highlighting the poetic nature of Aesop’s lessons.

The humor really brings the animals' antics to life, but I wonder if that also helps kids remember the morals better or if it sometimes overshadows the messages.
