The icy wilderness adds so much atmosphere — I wonder if the author has a personal connection to the location or chose it for its stark isolation.

The story's progression felt gradual at times, but I’m curious if that was intentional to deepen the suspense or character development.

The characters felt so real and layered, but I wondered how much of that was planned from the start versus evolved during writing.
