I found myself craving more tension or mystery during the mid-section. Was that intentional to build character depth or did it drag for others?

The interconnected stories felt so realistic, but I wonder if Moriarty based this on personal experiences or purely fictional ideas.

Some viewpoints felt more fleshed out than others, and I’m curious about the process behind choosing whose stories to tell more directly.
