The concept is so chilling and unique — I wonder what inspired the idea of water turning toxic and how it shapes the characters' choices.

The tension skyrocketed but then seemed to jump ahead quickly — was this an intentional choice to keep the story urgent?

It made me think about how fragile relationships are when survival is at stake. Did anyone else feel the characters' alliances felt both hopeful and terrifying?
