The Fifth Season

The setting is so detailed and layered that I sometimes wondered if it was planned out from the start or grew organically during writing. How did others experience the depth of the world?

I was struck by how openly the book explores pain and resilience. Did anyone else find it empowering or was it too raw at times?

The shifting viewpoints kept the story dynamic but also complex. I'm curious whether this narrative structure was planned from the beginning or evolved during the writing process.
