Spectacular School Trip (Really...)

The humor feels so natural and over-the-top at the same time. I wonder if she drew inspiration from her own childhood adventures or just wanted to make kids laugh.

Each student has such a distinct voice, which made the story even more lively. Were these based on real kids or just pure imagination?

The pictures add such a dynamic energy to the story. I’m curious if Liz Pichon planned this from the start or if it evolved during writing.
