The house feels like a character itself—so much of its atmosphere is built through its history. I wonder if the author mapped out its lore beforehand or let it evolve during writing.

Some parts felt slow and atmospheric, while others picked up quickly. Was that intentional to build suspense or a natural rhythm for the story?

The shifting viewpoints kept things fresh, but I wondered how much planning went into balancing each character's narrative arc.
