Considering his other adventure works, I'm curious how he decided to incorporate the concept of shifting through time and its impact on the story's adventure.

The story picked up again towards the end, but I wondered if that was intentional or if it affected the overall excitement.

The magical aspects seemed to deepen the world-building—did they add to your immersion or feel a bit overwhelming at times?
