Reading about Mr. Darcy’s life after Austen’s ending was interesting but also felt like it changed the tone of the beloved story. Did it enhance or detract from the charm of the original for others?

It’s always tricky to honor classic characters while making them feel fresh. I wonder what choices the author made to keep Darcy and Elizabeth authentic yet new.
