The psychological depth was chilling and intense. I wonder what inspired the approach to make the killer's thoughts so vivid and disturbing.

The story got really intense, but I felt some parts rushed. Was that a conscious choice to keep the tension high, or just how the story evolved?

The detective's internal conflicts added so much depth. I'm curious how the author decided which ethical questions to highlight and which to leave ambiguous.
