The tension and banter made it hard to put the book down, but I wondered if the author intentionally built up the slow burn or if it just happened naturally.

The detailed sports scenes felt authentic and added a lot to the story. I'm curious whether the author has a personal connection to hockey or did research to bring it to life.

The book manages to be both heartfelt and spicy, but I wonder if the pacing of the romantic development was a conscious choice or grew organically during writing.
