Lovely Darkness

The demons in this story feel so layered and human at times, which really deepens the romance. I'm curious what inspired this approach to their characterization.

The romance is so intense but also fraught with danger — I kept wondering whether their love could survive the darkness surrounding them.

The mood and environment add so much to the story’s tension, and I’d love to hear if there was a real place or concept behind the world-building.
