Focusing on the survivor's point of view created intense intimacy and tension. I wonder if this was planned from the start or if it emerged during writing.

The story had such a gripping start and ending, but the middle felt a bit slower. I'm curious whether the author intentionally built suspense this way.

The romantic subplot added depth but didn't overshadow the mystery. I wonder what guided the choice to weave these genres together.
