The depiction of the aliens was so vividly crafted that it made me think about how much of their culture was inspired by real-world anthropology. Did this make anyone else more empathetic or cautious about 'the other'?

The detailed world-building made Kesrith feel so real and dangerous. I wonder if the landscape was based on specific places or entirely imagined from scratch.
