The story kept me on the edge while also making me feel for the characters—I'm curious how that balance was achieved during writing.

The characters' choices seemed complex and sometimes questionable, which added to the tension. Did this make others question their own perceptions of right and wrong?

The cold, stark environment really set the tone. I wonder if the setting was based on a specific place or more of a mood the author wanted to evoke.
